	Opened in the summer of 1964 by Ned and Veda Gilligan, the deli got its start with pizza and grinders. Today under the leadership of their daughter Kathy Gilligan Phillips, Gill’s is a Downtown Rutland institution, the source of great food and a great experience for thousands of visitors every year.

Grinders are the heart and soul at Gill’s, but our menu also features baked beans, fresh salads, meatballs, deviled eggs and more! For a real delight try some of Ma’s Potato Salad with eggs. We use premium deli meats and cheeses, and our Rolls and Bread are baked fresh daily in our own bakery.
